Description

This repair is actually an upgrade/revision to improve the Rotax 912 ignition unit for a better start (similar to Rotax soft-start system).

Several components inside the unit will be replaced together with a spark timing adjustment at low RPM. Other adjustments include a stronger spark at low RPM enabling the engine to start easier when it is cold and/or the battery is not completely charged.

These Rotax 912 units are being used in the aircraft models below.
